8 students were hurt in a school bus collision, according to officials.
According to school officials, a school bus accident in South Carolina on Friday afternoon injured eight pupils.
When the accident happened in the hamlet of Jefferson at around 4 p.m., the bus was transporting 24 children from an elementary school and middle school in the Chesterfield County School District, according to the district.
According to the district, eight of the pupils on the bus were sent to the hospital with injuries.
School authorities issued a statement saying that "the district superintendent, transportation staff, and local principals are working the situation."
